Good morning! Today I'm playing along with the SPARKS Challenge on the Paper Smooches blog. This week there was a picture challenge. I loved the colors and patterns in the picture.
The mustard color and blue chevrons were the elements that stuck out to me most and were incorporated into my card:
The card was loosely based off one of Paper Smooches Designer Drafts. I stamped the blue and grey chevrons on white cardstock. The circles were punched out of A Muse Studio cardstocks using Marvy Nesting Punches. Lastly, I printed off this ADORABLE digital stamp from the Paper Smooches blog and colored him in using Copic Markers. I finally got some use out of my Martha Stewart X-Acto Knife with this critter! After cutting him out, I adhered the piece to the card front using foam risers.
What a fun challenge! Can't wait to see what they have for next week. Thanks for stopping by.
